Lesson Library ยท last updated 1 October 2026

Lesson Library is a personal app used only by its owner, on their own computer.

What it accesses

With the owner's permission, through Google's OAuth sign-in, it uses the YouTube Data API to read the videos on the owner's own playlist, read public details of those videos (title, channel, duration, thumbnail address), search YouTube, and add a video to that playlist.

Where data is kept

The sign-in token and the video details are stored only on the owner's computer. Nothing is sent to any server other than Google's own. No video or audio is downloaded.

Sharing

No data is sold, shared, or used for advertising. There are no analytics or tracking.

Google API Services

Lesson Library's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. It uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Revoking access

Access can be removed at any time from the app's Settings (Disconnect) or at myaccount.google.com/permissions; the stored token is then deleted.
